About me

I’m Kai Lorenzen. I work where technology has to solve real day-to-day problems instead of merely looking impressive.

I’m not a designer who sells you a polished interface and disappears afterwards. My strength is making technology useful in everyday operations: making AI understandable, structuring eCommerce processes, improving workflows, supporting plentyOne, extending Bagisto and building technically sound WordPress websites.

I have worked with Plentymarkets, now plentyOne, from the merchant side since 2009 and have also known the agency side since 2015. That gives me both perspectives: the technical implementation and the practical question of what actually helps in daily business.

I also maintain a strong professional network. If a problem requires expertise outside my own scope, I can usually bring in someone who is a better fit for that specific task. This means you get access not only to my experience, but also to a broader network of specialists.

Outside work I am active in local sports, including HSG Angeln, and live with my family in Süderbrarup in northern Germany. I work locally as well as remotely with businesses throughout Germany and beyond.
